Ingredients
Rice: 2 cups
Tamarind: 50gm
Green chilly: 4
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder: 1 tb spoon
Hing: 1/4 tb spoon
Salt
Ground nuts: 2 tb spoon
Cashew Nuts: 1 cup
Mustard seeds: 1 tb spoon
Urad dal: 1 tb spoon
Cumin seeds: 1 tb spoon
Oil: 4 tb spoon
Red chilly: 3
Preparing method
1. Soak the tamarind for 1hour. squeeze the tamarind to get the juice.
2. Add green chillies, salt and turmeric powder to the tamarind juice and boil in a bowl until it gets thick paste 3. Take the cooked rice into a bowl and add some oil and turmeric powder to the cooked rice and mix well. Then add tamarind paste also to the rice and mix well. keep it aside.
Now we prepare Talimpu:
4. Tack a pan, pour oil and heat the oil
5. Add ground nuts, Cashew nuts fry it until it gets golden brown color.
6. Add urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and red chilies. Let’s fry it and add curry leaves and hing.
7. Mix this in rice well
This is traditional Andhra Pulihora which is very tasty.
