Potato and Tomato Curry

Ingredients

Potatos: 2
Tomatos: 5
Cooking Oil
Onion: 1 (medium size)
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Channa dal (Split chick peas)
Urad dal (Black gram)
Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
Mustard seeds
Red chilli Powder: 1 table spoon
Green Chilly: 1
Turmeric Powder: 1 pinch
Salt 




Preparing Method


1. Peal the potato's and chop into small pieces. keep aside. 
2. Chop the tomato’s and onions into small pieces. keep aside. 
3. Take a kadai onto the stove. Pour oil into kadai and wait until oil gets heat. 
4. Add Channa dal, Urad dal, Cumin Seeds, Mustard seeds. Let these fry. 
5. Add few curry leaves, onions and chilly pieces. Wait until onion pieces turned into golden color then add potato pieces. Close with a lid and cook for few minutes. Keep stir in between. 
6. Add tomato pieces, mix properly and close with a lid. Cook for few minutes. 
7. Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Add water if required. 
8. Cook few more minutes until potato's cooked properly. 
9. Add chopped coriander leaves. 
                                                                                                                          
Tasty Potato-Tomato curry ready. Serve hot in rice or chapati.
