Ingredients
Dondakayalu (Tindoora/Gherkins): 200 grams
Green Chili: 4
Tomato: 3
Few Coriander Leaves
Urad Dal: ½ table spoon
Jeera: ½ table spoon
Mustard Seeds: ½ table spoon
Channa Dal: ½ table spoon
Oil: 2 table spoons
Garlic: 4 pieces
Preparing Method
1. Cut Dondakaya into 6/7 rounded pieces each and keep aside.
2. Cut each tomato into 4 parts and keep aside.
3. Take pan, put 2 table spoon oil. Heat the oil and add Urad dal, Jeera, Mustard Seeds. Fry them and keep aside.
4. Add Dondakaya pieces, tomato pieces and green chilies (as it is) to the same pan. No need to add the oil again. The Oil which is added already is enough. Fry them properly around 10 to 15 minutes on low flame.
5. Grind the fried Dondakaya pieces, Tomato pieces, Chilies, Urad dal, Jeera, Mustard seeds and salt. Add sufficient water while grinding. Make a fine paste.
6. Add crushed Garlic and coriander leaves to the Paste.
Tasty Dondakaya Chutney ready. Serve in rice with Ghee.
