Masala Lemon rice

Ingredients 1

Rice: 2 Cups
Oil: 3 table spoons
Onion: 2
Tomato: 1
Potato: 1
Ground Nuts: 1 Cup
Green chily: 7
Lemons: 2
Cashew Nuts: 10
Masala powder: 2 table spoon
Turmeric powder: ¼ table spoon
Ghee : 2 table spoon
Salt to taste

Ingredients 2

Channa dal (Split chick peas): ¼ table spoon
Urad dal (Black gram): ¼ table spoon
Jeera (Cumin Seeds): ¼ table spoon
Mustard seeds: ¼ table spoon

Preparing Method

1. Cook the rice and keep aside.
2. Cut the tomato’s and potato’s in to small pieces and keep aside. Cut the green chilies  vertically.
3. Take oil in a kadai and add ground nuts and roast the nuts and keep aside.
4. Add Cashew nuts to the kadai and roast and keep aside.
5. Add Ingredients 2 to the kadai. When they splutter, Add Green Chiles and Onions and fry it.
6. When onions turned into color, add tomatos, potato pieces and cook properly.
7. Add Salt, Turmeric powder, masala powder, and lemon juice. Cook for few minutes.
8. Remove the kadai from stove.
9. Add roasted ground nuts and cashew nuts and rice in kadai and mix properly.

Tasty Masala Lemon rice ready.
