Avakaya Biryani In Telugu | Avakaya Biryani Recipe | Anantha Pavani

Ingredients

Rice: 2cups
Water: 4 cups
Green Chillies: 2
Onion: 1
Coriander Leaves
Biryani Leaf: 1
Ghee: 2table spoons
Cooking Oil: 2table spoons
Ginger Garlic Paste: One and Half table spoon
Salt to taste.
Turmeric Powder: 1/4 table spoon
Cardamon/Ilachi: 2
Cinnamon/Dalchina Chekka: small peice
Cloves: 2
Potato: 2 Medium size
Mango Pickle: 2 Spoons

Preparing Method

1. Wash and Soak the rice and keep aside.
2. Cut the Onions, Green chillies length wise and potato's into pieces.
3. Take a cooker and pour ghee and oil. After oil becomes heat, add biryani leaf,  Cardamon, Cinnamon, Cloves and wait for few seconds
4. Add green chillies and onion pieces. Let the onion pieces fry until golden brown color.
5. Add ginger garlic paste. Let the ginger garlic paste fry properly.
6. Add potato pieces, turmeric powder and Mango pickle. Let the mix fry properly. Let them fry properly.
7. Add soaked rice. Mix well and fry it for a minute.
8. Add water and salt. Close the cooker.
9. After 3 whistles, stop the stove and wait for few minutes.
10. Open the cooker and mix properly.


Tasty tasty Avakaya biryani rice ready. Serve hot with any raita. It’s very easy to cook and tasty to eat.
