Banarasi Pulav

Ingredients

Basumati Rice: 1 cup
Ghee: 2 table spoon
Onions: 1
Green chilly: 2
Somp: 1/2 spoon
Betel leafs: 5
Few dry fruits
Salt to taste

Preparing Method

Soak the rice 1/2 an hour and cook the rice and keep aside.

1. Take a pan on to the stove and add Ghee.
2. Add onion pieces and green chilly pieces. Fry it.
3. Add dry fruits and somp. After few seconds, add chopped betel leafs (tamala paku) and fry it.
4. Then add cooked rice and salt. Mix well.
5. Garnish with grated carrot

Tasty and healthy Banarasi pulav ready.
