Ingredients
Rice: 2 Cups
Rice flakes: 1 cup
Butter: 1 cup
Curd: 1 cup
Salt to taste
Preparing Method
1. Soak the rice and rice flakes separately for around 7 to 8 hours.
2. Grind the rice and Rice flakes, without water into a thick batter.
3. Mix the curd and butter to the batter. Keep it for 8 to 10 hours. (Hint: You can use Instant Idli Mix with butter and curd mix instead of above 3 steps. )
4. Add salt and to the batter.
5. Put the batter in Idli stand and steam for 15-20 minutes.
Tasty Butter Idli Ready. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
