Onion-Cabbage Pakodi/Pakoda - A traditional Andhra Pakodi/Pakoda with Onions and Cabbage


Ingredients

Onions: 3
Cabbage: 100 grams
Ginger Garlic Paste: ½ table spoon
Red Chili Powder: 2 table spoon
Green Chili: 3
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Turmeric Powder: ¼ table spoon
Vamu (Tymol Seeds): ½ table spoon
Senaga Pindi (Gram Flour): 150 grams


 Preparing Method

1. Cut the onions length wise and keep aside
2. Cut the Cabbage length wise and keep aside
3. Cut the Green Chili into small pieces and keep aside
4. Mix all the ingredients: Onion pieces, Cabbage pieces, Green chili pieces, salt, Turmeric powder, Red Chilli Powder, Ginger Garlic paste, Vamu and Senaga Pindi with some water to make thick batter.
5. Take a kadai and pour oil and heat the oil.
6. Spread the Senaga pindi mix in oil slowly. Deep fry it until golden brown color.

Sprinkle the chat masala powder on pakode for more taste.

Tasty Onion-Cabbage Pakodi ready.
